In this Educational Module, students will synthesize and magnetically characterize samples of HoFeO3 and HoCr0.5Fe0.5O3.  HoFeO3 undergoes a magnetic spin reorientation transition, and students will have the opportunity to investigate the effects of Cr doping on this phenomenon.
